Quality Control & Inspection Lab
Quality is the foundation of every AstraRoll product, and our inspection lab is the first line of defense against defects. We use a full range of precision measurement tools, including digital micrometers, calipers, hardness testers, and height gauges, to verify dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and material integrity at every production stage. Every roller undergoes rigorous inspection for roundness, concentricity, and tolerance compliance, ensuring it meets exact performance specifications before moving to the next phase. Vertical Machining Center
Our vertical machining centers are the backbone of precision roller manufacturing. These high-speed, computer-controlled machines deliver ultra-precise milling, drilling, and contouring for complex roller geometries, custom embossing dies, and precision components. With tight tolerance control and automated operation, they ensure consistent, repeatable machining for high-volume production runs and custom one-off projects alike. CNC Turning Workshop
CNC turning is at the core of roller production, shaping raw steel, aluminum, and stainless steel into perfectly round, dimensionally stable roller bodies. Our CNC turning workshop features large-format, high-precision lathes that handle roller diameters and lengths of all sizes, from small precision printing rollers to heavy-duty industrial conveyor cylinders. Automated turning ensures consistent roundness, surface finish, and concentricity, eliminating vibration and ensuring smooth, reliable rotation in high-speed operations. This process also creates the foundation for all subsequent surface treatments, coatings, and bearing installations.

Dynamic Balancing Workshop
Even the smallest imbalance in a roller can cause vibration, reduce product quality, and shorten service life—especially in high-speed printing, converting, and packaging lines. Our dynamic balancing workshop uses precision balancing equipment to measure and correct roller imbalance, ensuring smooth, vibration-free rotation at any operating speed. Every high-precision roller undergoes dynamic balancing, with corrections made to achieve industry-leading balance tolerances. This process directly improves print quality, reduces material waste, and extends roller service life, making it a critical step in our manufacturing workflow.
