Electroless Nickel Plating

As a professional precision industrial roller manufacturer, AstraRoll specializes in high‑grade electroless nickel plated rollers and custom electroless nickel plated rollers, providing uniform, pinhole‑free nickel‑phosphorus alloy plating for precision‑grade industrial rollers. Unlike conventional electro‑plating, electroless nickel plating delivers consistent coating thickness even on complex‑shaped roller surfaces, offering excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, hardness, low friction and dimensional stability. Our plated rollers are widely used in electronics, new energy, food‑grade processing, packaging, chemical, pharmaceutical and precision automation industries, ideal for clean‑room, mild‑corrosion and high‑precision conveying environments.

Electroless nickel plating forms a dense amorphous nickel‑phosphorus alloy layer via chemical reduction without external electric current. We use high‑quality carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and aluminum alloy roller cores, with strict pre‑treatment including degreasing, pickling and activation. We offer low‑phosphorus, medium‑phosphorus and high‑phosphorus electroless nickel plating grades, precisely controlling coating thickness, surface smoothness, hardness and adhesion. Full customization of roller size, plating formula, coating thickness and shaft‑end structure supports diverse precision industrial applications.

Food‑Grade & Clean‑Room Electroless Nickel Rollers
Smooth non‑porous plating surface, easy to clean and sanitize, low particle shedding. Used in food packaging, medical equipment, lithium‑ion battery and semiconductor production lines.

Custom Non‑Standard Precision Electroless Nickel Plated Rollers
Custom micro‑precision rollers, large‑diameter rollers and special‑structure rollers for ultra‑thin‑film processing, optical‑material conveying and non‑standard automation machinery.

Key Features & Product Advantages

Uniform Coating Thickness Even on Complex Surfaces
No edge thickening or uneven plating, maintaining strict roundness, straightness and concentricity of precision rollers, suitable for high‑speed stable operation.

Excellent Corrosion & Chemical Resistance
Dense nickel‑phosphorus alloy layer resists humidity, salt spray, weak acids, alkalis and organic solvents, far superior to ordinary zinc plating in anti‑corrosion performance.

Good Wear Resistance & Surface Hardness
Heat‑treatable electroless nickel plating improves surface hardness and abrasion resistance, extending service life in continuous‑friction precision processing environments.

Low‑Friction, Smooth & Non‑Stick Surface
Fine smooth plating surface reduces material friction, prevents scratching of films, separators and delicate substrates, improving finished‑product yield.

Strong Adhesion & No Peeling
Chemical‑bonded plating layer tightly combines with the roller substrate, resistant to peeling, bubbling and cracking under long‑term rotation and friction.

Full Customization for Precision Industrial Needs
Customize roller dimensions, phosphorus content, coating thickness and surface finish to match clean‑room, high‑precision, anti‑corrosion and wear‑resistant process requirements.
