Silicone Roller

AstraRoll Silicone Roller is engineered with exceptional high and low temperature resistance, enabling stable performance in extreme thermal conditions without hardening or losing elasticity. It features outstanding ozone, oxygen and light aging resistance, maintaining consistent physical properties over long-term use and resisting premature degradation even in demanding environments. With superior air permeability far exceeding many conventional materials, this roller supports safe, gentle handling in food, packaging and pharmaceutical applications. Its strong chemical inertness delivers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents, ensuring reliable performance in pharmaceutical, food processing and industrial manufacturing settings. Combined with smooth operation and long service life, it provides dependable, low-maintenance performance for specialized processing and conveying systems.

Silicone Roller FAQs

Standard silicone rollers can work continuously at 200°C, high-temperature models can reach 250°C, and special high-temperature grades can achieve long-term stability at 300°C. Short-term peak temperatures can be higher, but long-term use above rated temperature will accelerate aging.
Standard silicone is an insulator and prone to static electricity. For printing, electronics, and film applications, we can provide anti-static or conductive silicone rollers to control surface resistance and eliminate static hazards.
Main factors include continuous working temperature, working pressure, linear speed, chemical exposure, and wear intensity. Under reasonable use, the service life is generally 1–3 years, and high-temperature harsh environments may shorten it accordingly.
Softer silicone distributes pressure more evenly across wide webs, compensating for slight unevenness in materials. Harder silicone provides higher concentrated pressure for embossing and creasing. We can recommend the optimal hardness based on your web width and material.
Solid silicone rollers are made entirely of silicone, with higher elasticity but lower load capacity, suitable for light-duty applications. Coated silicone rollers have a metal core inside, providing higher rigidity, torque resistance, and better stability under high speed or pressure, which is the standard industrial version we provide.
