Unlike conventional drum pulleys, wing pulleys feature an open design with radial steel wings that support the conveyor belt while allowing loose material to fall away, preventing accumulation on the pulley surface.

Structure and Key Components

Working Principle

As the conveyor belt moves over the wing pulley, contact occurs only along the edges of the wings rather than a continuous surface. As a result, the pulley remains clean, minimizing imbalance, vibration, and belt misalignment.
